Youth at the Family Camp!

It's a great blessing for me and all of us to attend the Family camp on Labor day weekend. The most enjoyable time was sharing God's word with youth. We have the theme "Here I am: Enabling Grace within You" based on three sections of biblical discussion and application.





First section the letter "D" represents, 'Discovering your spiritual growth,' which we discover our position of growth in relationship with God. Second letter "E" represents 'Engaging in Ministry' which we must engage ourselves in God's ministry where by we must involve and serve in local churches. Third letter "A"represents, 'Amplify in the world' which means our Christian living should be amplifying or radical living in the world.





The exciting part for me was that youth never stop talking about the Bible and Faith even after the class hours over. They go beyond 2 to 3 AM in the morning. I admire their enthusiasm for God and love for His truth.

The OBMBC Youth are going to Water World USA

Hey, if not too late, you can jump in and join the Youth for Water World USA at Concord, this Saturday. This is a Youth enrichment time during summer. So meet us at Water World on Saturday.

One Fine Day at Lake Chabot Park for our OBMBC Picnic

OBMBC’s summer picnic day was fun day, combined with VBS children at Lake Chabot Park. What a day for all of us to kickback and relax.

VBS has done the first wave and still on each Sunday

We praise God for His wonderful blessings through out the first three days of VBS.

We have come so far successful and continuing each week on Sunday the rest of the month.

VBS will have closing celebration and the children will lead us in our Sunday worship service on the last Sunday of this August. So prepare to join us for this event.

Vacation Bible School is Here!

Our "God's Big Backyard" Vacation Bible School is here with us. OBMBC is preparing to have this VBS during next week Thursday through Sunday and then through out the August month on every Sunday.



Your family may enjoy our out door camping at Anthony Chabot camp ground. Please join us fun filled out door activities like, sports, hiking, bond fire fellowship, tent making competition, night watch, out door cooking, foods and many more. On Saturday, OBMBC family members will join VBS children for Church Picnic event at Lake Chabot. Another day of fun filled family sports and food activities by the lake. We can enjoy boat ride, fishing, bike ride, and relaxation.

Today, July 20th Sunday, we will be celebrating 81years of blessed birthday of Uncle U Kyaw Nyunt (Tay family). We give thanks for his life that God is blessing him and his family with abundant blessings. We praise God for His faithfulness!

Today also one year anniversary of Ba Shur and his family that they have arrived in USA a year ago. They want to praise God for guidance and deliverance from hardship and suffering. Thanking God for His love and care for their family. Ba Shur said that they have been blessed by God with every thing that they have and they are now. Ba Shur is living with wife, three children, and mother in law at Oakland city.
