What kind of creature did not aboard on the Noah's Ark?
1) Fish
2) Dinosaurs
3) Sinners
4) Cars
Thanks to everyone who played this game. Those who answered "Cars," you are quite true that there was no car on board, however your answer is still not correct, the reason is that there is no car invented yet. Also the question is what kind of "creature"? not car.
Those who answered "Sinners" you may be right for the fact that sinners are being washed away by the flood. However, you must also think that Noah and his families are also sinners by nature but saved by God's grace. So your answer is still not perfect.
How about Dinosaurs? Most of you think that Dinosaurs are on board (some can argue that baby Dinosaurs were on board instead of huge one). So you do not vote for it much. I guess whoever votes Dinosaurs, they must be thinking that it is so huge to get into the Ark ; also most of Dinosaurs are extinct by the flood. Surely, we can not count on it much either. In Job. 40:15, the animal like Dinosaurs is mentioned. Any way, it is not the right answer.
What about "Fish"? It is the most possible answer that fishes were not on board. So obvious that fish live in water, so why should they flee the flood? It is a trick question yet there is no absolute answer to it. I hope you have fun. Try another one again.

Spiritual Exercise Right Way and Wrong Way
Everyone agreed that physical exercise is helpful to our body. It will make us strong and healthy if we do it right. However, the truth is some time exercise can be very harmful to our body. Especially when you do it wrong. This is an example, please watch the video clip.
Likewise, we also need to exercise in our spiritual life. Spiritual exercises can be known as; trusting God when things are impossible, leaning God when we can not fore seen future, believing God when things go wrong, waiting on God when circumstances are not favor with us, standing with God when no one understand us, etc., plus addition to the daily walk with God. The Bible says that it is trial for the Christians; "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." (James 1:2-4). That is the right way for us in our spiritual exercise.
How about wrong way? It is so clear that if someone doing the following things when need of spiritual strength; looking for sensational stimulation, accepting all kinds of spiritual expressions, not knowing what the Bible teach, depending on self understanding, compromising one's faith with others error, practicing on World view of religion (everything is good thus everything must be gods, all road leads to Rome), etc.. Definitely, these are the ways of destruction to our Christian faith. Scripture says that people will having itching ears, speaking of flattering words and believing all things in the last days, which is very much in our generation. "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;" (2Tim. 4:3)

Ministry Up Date
Coming week Nov. 18th 2007, Sunday, we will be joining Thanksgiving Worship together with Oakland First Baptist Church at 11:00 AM. There will be Spirit filled Testimonies, Songs, Children's performance, and message in our worship. After worship service, immediately, annual church's group photos will be taken at century and followed by Thanksgiving (Turkey Lunch) banquet. Please come and join us for this special occasion. We will also having fellowship indoor games at Gym afternoon on that Sunday. Please prepare to bring shorts, shirt, and shoes for the sport.
During these two months (Nov. & Dec) we are preparing to issue Church's (2007-2008 years book) catalog which will be including individuals and families photos. There will be also contact information of members and useful information of church ministry in this book. This book is issued within the church and for the members use only.
December 1st, the Sunday School children will be participating "Children Gospel Concert" in San Jose. Some of our children will be contesting in songs and dances in this event. For parents and members are welcome to join the children for this event. Detail of this event will be posted in the web soon.

Our Sunday School Teacher Ma Pearl Tay is going on the trip to China with her parents this Tuesday night. Please pray for their journey that they all be healthy and safe.
U Soe Aung's wife (Daw Nyunt Nyunt) was on the way to surgery for her back on Tuesday. However, Doctor postponed her operation due to her health condition. Please pray for her health and their family. Especially for their spiritual life that they may find Christ.
December 2nd week, Saya from Burma is coming and share with us God's Word during our worship.
